TransAtlantic Flight.
Depart Your Home Airport on your Trans-Atlantic flight to Europe
"Day 1" is the published tour date and is the date you will arrange your airfare to depart your home city airport. Your Small Group Tour will commence on Day 2 upon arrival into London, England.
Do we provide Airfare? Yes, we can arrange your air travel from the QueensLander air department. We'll work with you to get the absolutely lowest-fare available based on your travel preferences. We utilize both our own air department and online agencies to find the best rate. At the end of the London Paris and Rome Tour you should set your flight to return from Rome. Or if you are extending to the Amalfi Coast, then you should set your flight to return from Naples. Remember, airfare is a completely separate arrangement from your land tour. It is your responsibility to arrive at the point of tour origination (London) on time regardless of whether QueensLander has arranged your air. We very much encourage trip cancellation and interruption insurance.
We've tried to include everything! However, make note the following items are not included:
- Arrival and Departure Transfers ($89 per person, 2 guest minimum from London Airport or Train Station. You must arrive between 9am and 12:00pm otherwise a supplement may apply. Departure Transfers from Rome Hotel to Rome Airport are $59/person, 2 guest minimum).
- Lunches - Our Tour Captain will offer great, affordable options for you everyday.
- No set menus and No hotel buffets: Only real restaurants where you order what you like! A total of 4 Dinners is included with our Deluxe package including Premium Wine, Colas, Bottled Water (both naturale and gas) and regional cuisine. Our Tour Captains will invite you to join them to unique restaurants each night, regardless of whether the dinner is included.
MAGIC PORTAGE SERVICE ~ your portaged suitcase (one per adult or $USD50 fee for additional bag portaged) will 'magically' meet you in your room throughout the tour.
That's it ~ everything else excluding personal item purchases is included.
Our tour captain will meet you at the hotel on Day 2, or if you've opted for our Arrival Transfer you will be met at the airport or train station.

Our approach to dining is unique: We've collected our favorites dishes from the incredible restaurants we visit for each included dinner. No buffets here! Your Tour Captain is there to make sure your dining experience goes smoothly and will help you interpret any menu item. For the 4 total included dinners (Deluxe), your Tour Captain will select a variety of appetizers featuring regional cuisine and will select your wine for the evening ~ a variety of red and white wine from the region you're traveling.

About the Walking
We do walk on our small group tours of Europe. We walk a lot, but it's unhurried and there are ample opportunities to sit and relax. But you must be physically capable of walking and experiencing the many stairs of Europe. Please inquire with QueensLander Reservations for more details.
Historic London Walking Tour
The romance of this historical city of London Town is apparent every step of the way. Our experience in London will include views of Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Hyde Park, the Houses of Parliament, St. James Palace and Buckingham Palace.
We’ll begin the day with a tour of Buckingham Palace, the Queen’s home, where she has the world's finest private art collection. Our Local Guide will show us the grand State Rooms, with its gold fixtures, pictures from the Masters, tapestries and the throne. The Royal Mews, where Her Majesty’s horses and fairytale carriages are preserved and still used. Lunch, on our own, in the garden of the Palace is in order.
After lunch we visit Windsor Castle, the thousand year old retreat for the Royals. Windsor Castle is the world's largest inhabited castle it is also a delightful sight as you literally walk back in time (over 900 years!).
The Magic of Wandering Through London ~ discover your "unique adventure" in this romantic city. We return to the hotel where the afternoon is at leisure for those who do not opt for the Windsor Castle experience.
Dinner in London, anyone?
You may opt to join your Tour Captain tonight for dinner (departs from lobby usually about 7:45pm) or opt to explore on your own throughout London.

London Immersion
The Tower of London
Our Local Guide continues with our immersion tour of London with a visit and admission to the Tower of London.
In the early 1080s, William the Conqueror began to build a massive stone tower at the centre of his London fortress. Nothing like it had ever been seen before.
Through the centuries that followed, successive monarchs added to the fortifications.
The afternoon is yours at leisure. Perhaps our optional excursion to Stonehenge is of interest or a ride on the London Eye. Maybe a Full Afternoon Tea at Montague on the Gardens or the now famous, Harry Potter Walking Tour.

Paris
London to Paris | English Channel | The Chunnel
We embark on the EuroStar via 1st Class service with reserved seats to the city of Paris. Your luggage will magically meet you in Paris!

Paris is the city of Light and Love. She holds much to discover! After we transfer from the Train Station, the Tour Captain checks you in to our hotel. We arrive Paris early afternoon, and rooms will be ready by 2PM.
You will join the Tour Captain for the included Paris Orientation Walkabout through the cobblestones streets to become familiar with the location around our hotel, in the very heart of the Arc de Triomphe district. We will visit Champs-Elysees, Trocadero and enjoy views of the Eiffel Tower (you will have opportunity to go up into the tower later in the itinerary).

Free-choice dining means you select what you'd like from the menu ~ the Tour Captain is available to help you interpret the menu. Your Tour Captain Host will provide the appetizers featuring regional cuisine and will select your wine for the evening ~ a variety of red and white wine from the region!

Tonight for dinner you may explore on your own, however, the Tour Captain will invite you to join them. Meet in the lobby for another wonderful dining experience.

King Louis XIV's opulent 17th century palace, Chateau de Versailles, welcomes us for an in depth tour. We enjoy the marble, gold and formal gardens. We return to the heart of Paris and stroll through the streets of Montmartre at leisure.

Welcome to Rome ~ Today we have in-depth touring of St. Peter's and the Square, Bernini and Vatican City

After a great breakfast, we begin our journey to St. Peters' Basilica.
We begin along the banks of the Tiber River in the heart of Rome. Your Tour Captain provides commentary at important points along the route including Castello San Angelo, the Justice Palace and finally arriving at St. Peter's square. We navigate along the outer perimeter of the square before meeting our local guide for admission and tour of Vatican City.
Our tour includes the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica - however, make note the Pope may close any of the Vatican at any time without notice for a variety of reasons. After exiting the Vatican via St. Peter's square - smaller groups will take taxis to relocate to the Pantheon where you will enjoy a delightful lunch at one of the many restaurants in the Piazza (not included).
After our tour of Vatican City, consider optional excursions from Reservations. Tonight, consider an optional dinner with the Tour Captain tonight.

The Empire of Rome Comes to Life ~
"There was a dream that was Rome. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish, it was so fragile."
After breakfast, we begin our walking tour of Rome. The best way to experience Rome truly is walking, and so keeping in stride with the Empire, we walk from the hotel to the Colosseum and Roman Forum for our in-depth touring experience complete with admission.
We venture back in time as with our walk through the archaeological dig that is the Roman Forum. Then we enjoy admission to the Colosseum. This landmark is one of the most impressive sights in all of Europe. And did you know, all of Rome is a live archaeological dig? Literally, new discoveries are happening all of the time!
After our world-class touring experience of Imperial Rome, the balance of the day is free until our Farewell Dinner event tonight. Ask Reservations about optional tours for today.
