We are proud to present the Canyon Lands Field Trip 2010 lead by John Clayton. Come join us for a week of indepth learning and experience! By the way, did you know the Does God Exist? ministry receives no compensation or revenue from this event?

Join people from across the USA and enjoy the beauty of God's creation throughout the Canyon Lands with your host team: Alan Doty,
senior lecturer and team member with John Clayton's program, Mark Story, Senior Tour Captain and Host, Nathan Collins, our newest team member of the Initiative to Expand the work related to the Does God Exist? lectures and John Clayton, who will lead the field trip.
Highlights of the Trip

  • Explore the majesty of the Grand Canyon with commentary on hike by Alan Doty
  • The beauty of Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Meteor Crater Park and Glen Canyon inspire while learning of the harmony of science and the biblical record.

    Trip begins in Flagstaff, transportation, entrance to parks, lecture materials, breakfast, lunch and motels.

    Host & Teaching Team: 

  • Lead by John Clayton - This man of science and Christ follower provides incredible insight into the creation and subsequent development of our world.

  • Alan Doty, a powerhouse of information and past co-host of the Does God Exist? Canyonlands Trips with John, leads a newly assembled team dedicated to expanding the influence of the work of the Does God Exist? lectures.

  • Mark Story, QueensLander's general manager and groups manager also serves as worship leader on the Canyonlands trips and will serve as Host on the trip. Mark works on a church plant team forming in southern Denver and has a Masters of Science in Education from Harding University.

  • Nathan Collins, representative of QueensLander Tours and member of the initiative to expand the work of Does God Exist? ministry.

All Ages and Mobility are welcome on this trip!

September 19 | WELCOME TO FLAGSTAFF, Orientation and Worship Service, 7-9pm
Welcome to the Canyonlands!

Tonight join us for a night of worship, introductions of our newest team members and orientation to our adventure. The event is held at the Holiday Inn Express in Flagstaff. You may leave your vehicle parked at the Holiday Inn Express.

September 20 | Flagstaff to Grand Canyon National Park

We depart from the Holiday Inn Express in Flagstaff (about two and half hours from Phoenix) at 8am sharp. Breakfast today and transportation to the Holiday Inn Express is not provided.

• This morning enjoy learning about the week's adventures and begin lectures. We leave Flagstaff on route to the Grand Canyon.
• Arrive Sunset Crater Park: First we will venture to Desert View for a 60 Minute view and break. Then enjoy an optional hike with Alan on Grandview Trail (you will have lunch at Desert View at your own expense). Or you can opt to go to Mather Point and spend one to two hours at the Grand Canyon Village visitor center for lunch (own expense).

Tonight we arrive at the historic Cameron Trading Post, a lodge owned and operated by the Navajo Nation.

September 21 | Bryce Canyon National Park
Adventure Stop: Welcome to Bryce Canyon National Park. We have ample time today for either an optional hike with Alan Doty or enjoy time at the top of the canyon enjoying the inspiring view. Hikers may enjoy two trails: a short and a longer trail depending on your interest and ability. Alan will lead the longer hike while John will lead the shorter hike and spend time at the rim!

September 22 | Zion National Park
Welcome to beautiful Zion National Park. Today enjoy either an optional master-level climb/hike to Angel's Landing with Alan Doty or use park trams for access to easier hiking trails.

September 23 | From Zion to Flagstaff: Farewell Dinner
Enjoy time in Zion until we depart for Flagstaff.

September 24 | Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest

Today enjoy a delightful tour of the Meteor Crater along with the Petrified Forest.

• BREAKFAST INCLUDED
• Enjoy breakfast and check-out.
• Travel to the Meteor Crater for ample time at the center and crater
• Enjoy commentary throughout the Petrified Forest
• Drive back to Flagstaff
• Estimated arrival 5 – 6pm

Optional departure transfer to Phoenix is $49 per person. We will take you back to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport after the events and itinerary are completed on this date. Or you can opt to stay overnight at the hotel (not included) in Flagstaff.
