Day 1- Depart HOME Airport
Depart your HOME city airport bound for Washington D.C. Enjoy your flight to the east coast. Arrive DC and transfer to tour hotel located in the heart of the nation's capitol, the Holiday Inn Nation's Capital or similar.

Day 2 - Washington D.C.
This morning enjoy breakfast and then we're off for a full day of sightseeing in the nation's Capitol including Embassy Row, the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials, the National Cathedral and Vietnam Memorials. Our local QueensLander guide provides insightful commentary throughout our experience today. Our finale for the day occurs at the World War II Memorial where we take time to reflect on the sacrifices of the men and women who defended our freedoms in the Second World War - we call them The Greatest Generation. Return to hotel for freshening up and enjoy a delightful dinner together tonight.

Day 3 - Smithsonian Museums
Today we venture to the Smithsonian Museums where we take in more sightseeing. Fourteen museums will tempt you and take up your time! Enjoy them at your leisure. Our coach will transfer you back to the hotel at 5:00pm or you may explore on your own and return to the hotel via Metro or taxi.

Our Tour Captain will conduct a walking tour as well and you can opt to join in on that if you prefer more structure. Did we mention bringing comfortable walking shoes? A must for this tour! Join your Tour Captain in lobby for an optional dinner.

Day 4 - Memorials in DC with Mount Vernon
Today after breakfast, we check-out and begin our day of sightseeing to Arlington Cemetery, including the Kennedy family sites and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is also included. We stop at the Iwo Jima Memorial and get a great view of the Pentagon in the distance. The afternoon is reserved for his Excellency George Washington's beloved estate, Mount Vernon. Enjoy full admission of Mount Vernon and ample time to explore the estate and grounds. Reboard our motorcoach and drive to Williamsburg for check-in. Explore on your own tonight for dinner or enjoy the quality restaurant at our hotel!

Day 5 - Colonial Williamsburg
After breakfast, we begin our tour of Williamsburg and Colonial Williamsburg. Enjoy full admission to Colonial Williamsburg and a full day of sights and history - literally comes to life! Welcome to Colonial Willamsburg. More than 200 years ago, the pursuit of equality, freedom, & independence began a movement that continues to shape the world...it is called the Revolutionary City and we take it all in with plenty of time for sightseeing. Walking today is made easier with various transfers and trams. We return to the hotel on your own or via shuttle at around 3:00pm. Enjoy dinner on your own tonight. For those who are not faint of heart, we invite you to join your Tour Captain for a comical and sometimes eerie Ghost Story Tour of Colonial Williamsburg - quite a bit of fun!

Day 6 - Historic Jamestowne Settlement & Victory at Yorktown!
Today, we visit the original settlement of Jamestowne - a live archaeological dig in progress - very impressive as we learn of the importance of this region. The afternoon we venture over to Yorktown where the early Americans finally defeated the tyrannical rule of Great Britain and Lord Cornwallis surrendered! We return to Williamsburg to freshen up before heading to dinner for our included Farewell Dinner Gala in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg.
