Job Opening - Tour Captain. QueensLander Tours is seeking applicants for the position of Tour Captain who will provide world-class customer service and expert destination knowledge, research and support to clients on QueensLander branded tours and themed cruises.
This is a position which is best suited for individuals who desire either a part time to full time with seasonal spikes. Applicants must demonstrate a history of success in tour management or be willing to be trained and must be physically fit.
The service specialist must be a team player. Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task is required.

Group Sales Specialist (West Coast)
Job Opening - Group Sales Specialist. QueensLander Tours is seeking applicants for the position of Group Sales Specialist who will provide world-class customer support and sales support.
Whether experienced or entry level, it is very important that you have strong writing and communication skills. We spend a large part of our day on e-mails, letters, and faxes to participants, group leaders and candidate group leaders.
You must be able to work well independently and be able to multi-task. There are strict deadlines to follow, so strong time management and organizational skills are a must. It is also important that you are able to initiate new ideas and take leadership.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated, honest, reliable, smart, enthusiastic, and who is looking for a career with a boutique tour operator. It is not necessary to have a background in travel. It is most important that you are willing to learn. The job is very demanding and challenging, which also makes it interesting. Knowledge of geography, history, and a willingness to research and find new groups essential.
This is a commission based opportunity in an Independent Contractor relationship. Stipend or bonus-commission may be provided. Relocation is not required - virtual commute acceptable.
