The
Amalfi
Coast
beckons
our
arrival
-
Depart
from
Rome
this
morning
either
by
our
private
vehicle or by fast train if doing the extension independently.
The
Amalfi
Coast
is
one
of
the
most
splendidly
beautiful--and
historically
significant--areas
in
Italy.
The
area
is
comprised
of
the
southern
coast
of
the
Sorrentine
Peninsula,
south
of
Naples
and
part
of
the
province
of
Salerno.
In
the
northern
coast
we
find
the
town
of
Sorrento,
from
which
the
Peninsula
derives
its
name,
and
along
the
southern
coast
one
will
find
the
region's
main
towns
of
Positano,
Atrani,
and
Amalfi.
The
island
of
Capri,
located
nearby
in
the
Bay
of
Naples,
is
also
considered
part
of
the
Amalfi
Coast.
The
rugged
coastline,
sunny
brilliance,
and
high
mountain
towns
of
the
Amalfi
Coast--as
well
as
its
proximity
to
Naples
and
the
major
archaeological
sites
of
Pompeii
and
Herculaneum--have

the
area

The Tour Captain will arrange and deliver you to the Isle of Capri Ferry Station to enjoy roundtrip tickets to the Isle of Capri. The Tour Captain will provide you with orientation on what to do on Capri. Or you may simply enjoy

explore
on
your
own: LIke maybe
just
strolling
the
Amalfi
Coast
and
sipping
the
Limoncello!
Return to the mainland on your own tonight. Remember, *if there are six (6) guests or more, your Tour Captain will invite you to an optional dinner tonight. If there are five (5) guests or less, your Tour Captain will say "arrividerci" after breakfast and/or Capri Ferry stop this morning. Most extension departures will have more than six (6) guests.
