As much as possible we try to walk through Paris – the only real way to experience this delightful destination. However, Paris is grande in size and often we will utilize motorcoach and other transfers already included.
Day 1 | Welcome to Paris
Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel, freshen up and enjoy our Welcome Gala Event and Dinner!

Day 2 | Paris - Champs-Elysées - Louvre - Montmartre - Moulin Rouge - Paris
This morning after breakfast, we are off for the Avenue des Champs-Elysées - the most famous avenue in the world or so the French say! It is one and a half mile long and 200 feet wide. You can admire the perspective from Arch of Triumph to Concorde Square. Sights of the Louvre Museum, one of the world's largest (more than 75,000 paintings) and best-known museums of fine art round out the morning.
After lunch on our own, we visit the village of Montmartre: it's a picturesque guided walk to see the vineyard, the old streets, studios, gardens, historic cabarets, the Sacré Coeur church, and a wonderful view over Paris.
Tonight’s Dinner: cheesetasting (450 varieties to choose from) in a specialist cheese fine restaurant. After dinner, celebrated show at the Moulin Rouge, one of Paris' oldest cabarets made famous by Toulouse Lautrec and home of the French Can-Can!
Day 3 | Paris - Ile de La Cité - Marais - Eiffel Tower - Paris
The Isle de la Cité, site of the beginnings of the ancient city of Lutèce, which later became Paris. We'll visit the Conciergerie where Marie-Antoinette was imprisoned during the French Revolution, and the Sainte Chapelle, the jewel-like chapel within the Conciergerie that is known for its incredible stained glass windows. Notre-Dame Cathedral, almost nine hundred years old. 200 odd years were necessary to build the "cathedral of the cathedrals". Leisurely stroll down the Left Bank to see life on the River Seine with its bouquinistes (bookstalls) on the river banks. These are treasures of secondhand books, posters, prints, and souvenirs to delight all!
Lunch on our own before continuing to the Mansions of the Marais - one of Paris' most colorful districts and also one of the oldest, packed with history, culture and classic 17th-18th century hôtels particuliers (private mansions). Our walking tour includes the beautiful Place des Vosges, surrounded by an ensemble of 36 symmetrical pale pink stones townhouses with ground floor arcades and French windows. A very lively quarter with clothing boutiques, antique shops, boulangeries / pâtisseries, tea shops and bistrots. Hotel des Invalides : commissioned by Louis XIV in 1671 to house homeless veterans of various wars, it is an outstanding monumental ensemble.
Evening visit to the Tour Eiffel and dinner in one the finest, award-winning restaurants in Paris on the tower, the Jules Verne.
Day 4 | Today enjoy a complete free day at your leisure!
Day 5 | Paris - Versailles - Paris
Morning Paris tour:
We leave Paris for a day tour to Versailles, the palace of the Sun King, Louis the Fourteenth. Visit the King and Queen's private apartments, the famous Hall of Mirrors, and the beautiful gardens and Grand Canal.
After lunch on our own we're off to the famous "A la Française" gardens, Grand Trianon, a place of relaxation for the king and royal family who were anxious to escape the stiff etiquette of the royal court of Versailles.
After the tour we return to Paris and gather for an optional Farewell Dinner.
Day 6 | Transfers to airport included or extend your stay.
